Here’s How Kamar de los Reyes Was Written Off ‘All American’ Following His Death Last Year

Kamar de los Reyes tragically passed away last year after a battle with cancer and now All American is paying tribute to the late actor.

After shooting the season premiere episode for season six, Kamar was unfortunately unable to continue working on the long-running CW series. His final appearance was in the first episode of season six, but the writers waited until episode 10 to address his exit.

So, what happened?

Kamar‘s character Coach Montes was not killed off the series. Instead, the character took a job with the NFL, which was explained during a phone call between Cody Christian‘s Asher Adams and Coach Montes.

Asher said his goodbyes to the coach and the episode ended with an “In Loving Memory” tribute card.

Some big news about All American was just announced.
