‘Teen Mom’ Star Amber Portwood’s New Fiancé Gary Wayt Reported Missing

Amber Portwood‘s new fiancé Gary Wayt has gone missing.

On Tuesday (June 11), it was revealed that the 34-year-old Teen Mom star’s new fiancé was reported missing after they traveled from their home in Indiana to North Carolina last week to attended a family member’s wedding in the Bryson Bay area.

“They were spending several days in the Smoky Mountains,” an insider shared with Us Weekly. “On Sunday, June 9, they had a conversation that turned emotional. Gary left in the car without her and in the process, he left his cell phone behind.”

Ever since Gary, 39, went missing, Amber has been “beside herself and worried about him.”

“He should have been home by now if he was driving [back] home to Indiana. It doesn’t appear he has been to their house in Indiana,” the insider added. “Amber is distraught. She has friends helping to locate him.”

Amber reported Gary missing to the local police on Monday, June 10. “She doesn’t know where he is. She hasn’t heard from him and he hasn’t communicated with her or his family.”

The Bryson City Police Department confirmed on Facebook that Gary was last seen two days earlier in Bryson City. He’s described by authorities as 6-foot-1, weighing 205 pounds with brown eyes and a bald head. He drives a 2009 gray Nissan Rogue SUV with Indiana state plates.

Gary‘s disappearance comes days after it was confirmed that he and Amber were engaged.
