Recently, all members of NJZ (NewJeans) attended the first round of interrogations regarding the legal dispute between NJZ and ADOR.

Most recently, an online community post went viral for the members’ last statements made at the injunction trial.

Haerin: I have signed a contract with ADOR, and they should’ve done their best to protect its artists. Min Hee Jin protected us with everything she had, but HYBE attacked her and dismissed her. I don’t understand why they are trying to split us up.

Danielle: Min Hee Jin is considered one of our members. It feels like one of our members has been hurt right now. I am so scared that we will lose our CEO. Although we are five, we are no different than being six members. No matter what, we want to be together with Min Hee Jin.

Hyein: The current ADOR feels dark and uncertain. I cannot stay at ADOR and show insincere work to the public, as ADOR took away the future we envisioned with Min without proper reason.

Hanni: I think HYBE is acting out of fear..fear of our success. They are trying to stop us with this injunction because they are scared. They want to work with us, yet they destroy us behind the scenes. I cannot trust them. I always felt that HYBE never respected us. ADOR is now filled with HYBE people, and I can’t work with people I can’t trust.

Minji: We have constantly been discriminated against by HYBE so much that we wondered if we are their artists. Instead of protecting us, they have only tormented us. This is why we are terminating our contracts. We cannot continue our activities with ADOR and we hope the court understands this.

With this, netizens felt that the members were being gaslighted by Min Hee Jin.
