Garam had a short-lived idol as a member of LE SSERAFIM, which was marred by accusations of school bullying. This led to her departure from the group and HYBE and almost entirely out of the spotlight, besides occasional updates.

3 Years Later — What Is Kim Garam Up To After Leaving LE SSERAFIM?

On May 17, Garam seemingly took a step towards returning to the public with a new post on her Instagram account. The post included several images of the former idol and currently has over 37 thousand likes.

While many have celebrated her return, a comment on the post from another past HYBE trainee has earned surprisingly negative reactions.

Trainee Daniel made it to the final twelve, but was eliminated and did not make the final line-up. He presumably left Pledis in 2023, before debuting as a solo artist in 2025 under the name Kyu.

Fans noticed that Daniel left a comment on Garam’s post, simply saying hi with a heart emoticon.

While some were excited over the interaction, many reacted with criticism towards Daniel, accusing him of trying to use Garam to get attention.

Many came to his defense, however, reasoning that the two likely became friends while both being HYBE trainees.

Previously, he was criticized over comments made about I-LAND, which you can read below.
