BTS J-Hope’s Comments About TWICE’s Jeongyeon Spark Attention Due To Past Rumors With Jimin

BTS J-Hope‘s comments about TWICE‘s Jeongyeon have become a hot topic… because of a major K-Pop rumor.

On June 19, J-Hope was the latest guest with TWICE’s Sana on Fridge Interview.

During the episode, Sana and J-Hope realized just how much their schedules overlapped since both groups debuted.

At one point, they were speaking about Jeongyeon and J-Hope explained that he had seen her at a public audition, adding, “So when Jeongyeon debuted, I think I ran into her and was like ‘Oh hey, hey!’” 

Even Sana seemed shocked by this sudden news, and J-Hope clarified that they weren’t close, but the TWICE singer joked that they should’ve got close.

J-Hope apologized to Jeongyeon and praised her.

Sana added some fuel to the fire as she joked, “She probably would’ve felt a little disappointed.”

While netizens were shocked by the fact that J-Hope seemingly knew Jeongyeon pre-debut, it became a bigger topic because of BTS’s Jimin.

One of the biggest “rumors” and “unsolved mysteries” in K-Pop is the past between Jimin and Jeongyeon, with some saying they hate each other but others believing they dated. It meant that when J-Hope mentioned the TWICE singer, netizens wanted the “tea” and thought that the idol should’ve said more just to finally put all the rumors to rest.
