Malaysian courier finds drugs in roti canai order, makes police report
Suspecting something amiss, a delivery driver opened a package to find drugs along with roti canai.
Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Arifai Tarawe said a food and parcel delivery worker filed a complaint at 7pm Monday (April 13).
He said according to the police report, an order had come through to send a package from a man in Tropicana, Petaling Jaya, to a receiver in Setapak.
“However, when in the Gombak area, the complainant had a bad feeling about the package and decided to open it. Inside, he found two packets of drugs and some roti canai. He then made a police report on the matter,” he said when contacted Tuesday (April 14).
He added that efforts to find the suspect are underway.
“The case is being investigated under Section 6 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952,” he said.
