NMIXX’s Latest Single “Young, Dumb, Stupid” Receives Mixed Reactions

Netizens had a mixed reaction to NMIXX‘s latest offering, “Young, Dumb, Stupid,” off of the group’s upcoming album, expérgo.

On March 13, NMIXX released the music video for “Young, Dumb, Stupid.” The song, off of the group’s upcoming album expérgo, features energetic drums, with falsetto-laden melodies and the group’s signature beat drop. The chorus samples the French nursery rhyme, “Frère Jacques.”

 

The music video is saturated with colorful set designs and computer graphics highlighting the fun tone of the song.

Despite the group’s best efforts, however, not everyone is feeling the song. While there were plenty of netizens who appreciated the song, some netizens expressed relief that the song was not the group’s title track for its upcoming album.
