Zhao Lusi Gives Brutally Honest Update On Her Acting Future Amid On-Going Struggles

In December 2024, a bombshell post accused Chinese actress Zhao Lusi‘s company of physical and mental abuse after the actress’s health took a sharp and alarming decline. Since then, she has made great strides in her recovery, returning to promotional activities and even her reality show.

However, the issues persist with her agency, with the actress blasting Yinhekuyu Media (Galaxy Cool Entertainment) for numerous issues. Lusi accused the company of stealing money from her studio and condemned its actions.

She even claimed that the company attempted to have an exorcism performed on her rather than take her to a doctor.

Zhao Lusi has recently held a series of livestreams, where she has further exposed Galaxy Cool’s misdeeds.

During one such live, she spoke about receiving scripts but turning them down due to her condition and her belief she would not be able to do them at the time.

After I became sick, I still actually received quite a few scripts. They all came looking for me. It really wasn’t that there weren’t dramas for me. I just thought that, in my present condition, I wouldn’t be able to film well. Eventually, I would be the one to be criticized. So at this very moment, if there is nothing suitable or a script that I really enjoy, I think it’s fine that I’m not filming anything.

She also spoke about her potential future in acting being unsure, saying that it all depends on the resolution of the current issue.

Some people are still asking me if I’ll still film. Regarding this, let’s just see the outcome of this issue. If I can still film, of course I’ll still film. Otherwise, it’s whatever too. I can’t say for certain regarding this.
