Motorcycle riding student loses life in bus crash in Penang
GEORGE TOWN: A 17-year-old student was killed in a crash while riding his motorcycle on Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway.
Jason Lee from St Xavier’s Institution (SXI) was riding towards Jelutong when the incident happened at about 11 am on Thursday (Nov 13).
It was understood that the SPM candidate had just obtained his learner’s driving license.
Checks at the scene found that the dedicated motorcycle lane on the expressway was closed during the incident. It was believed that it was the reason why Lee was driving on the main road.
