Nelly’s And His UK Sexual Assault Accuser Reportedly Reach A Settlement

It looks like Nelly no longer has to worry about his UK sexual assault case after he reportedly reached an agreement with his accuser to settle out of court.

According to TMZ, in documents that were filed on Tuesday, the accuser has informed the judge that she and Nelly had settled their dispute. The terms of their agreement have been labeled confidential.

As it was previously reported, a woman in England filed a lawsuit against Nelly last year after she claimed that he allegedly sexually assaulted her back in 2017 following a concert in Essex. The woman, who filed the lawsuit as Jane Doe, claims that Nelly allegedly forced her to perform oral sex.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Nelly wouldn’t face any criminal charges because the accuser stopped talking with the police. Law enforcement sources had revealed Nelly wouldn’t be questioned after she stopped cooperating.

However, the investigation had not been officially closed.

TMZ also reports that Nelly’s girlfriend, Shantel Jackson is also in the clear. The accuser had named her in the lawsuit after she reportedly called the accuser a liar.

Last year, Nelly had also reached a settlement with another woman who claimed that he sexually assaulted her on his tour bus.
