BookXcess Opens Malaysia’s First Tunnel Bookstore In Shah Alam

Book lovers of Malaysia rejoice! BookXcess has opened up their 8th bookstore and it is located in the new Sunsuria Forum @ 7th Avenue, Setia Alam, near the Setia Convention Centre.

The opening of the store also marks the introduction to Malaysia’s first book tunnel concept bookstore. This means that the bookstore is located underground with a circular staircase leading to it.

BookXcess has been known to add just a bit of extra-ness to each of their store, previous seen with their 24-hour bookstore in Cyberjaya. The interior of the store is also meticulously designed with a concept of “Getting Lost” in the world of books in mind.

The organisers of the bookstore also hope that the book store is more than just another retail outlet. As they prefer to treat it as a form of tourist attraction instead, where children can come, enjoy, and read books.

BookXcess has been the popular choice for books readers for years, with the store being known for selling books at affordable prices. The way they achieve this is by buying books from publishers that other bookstores send back.

The store will be open daily from 10am to 10pm. Visitors of the store can also enjoy 20% off their favourite titles when they visit the place from 31st October till 3rd November 2019.

During the time, the store will also offer customers, who spend over RM50, RM100 and RM150, gifts such as free BookXcess membership, free coffee or tea at Café Wolf along with RM10 off or RM20 off their next purchase.
