Fan Bingbing Wished Li Chen Happy Birthday And Now People Think They’re Back Together

Apparently when you wish someone happy birthday, it means that all is well. When Chinese actress Fan Bingbing announced her split with Chinese actor Li Chen after four years of dating in June, many netizens believed that it was all just a ruse.

And these doubts have been raised again after a screenshot of the former couple’s alleged online interaction on Wechat was posted online by a netizen, who claimed to be a personal friend of the actress.

On November 24, the 37-year-old Bingbing, who is known to be a cat lover, posted a pic of a white cat that she had raised with Li Chen, 40, a few years prior to their break-up. The cat and Li Chen also happen to share the same birthday.

“Happy birthday!” the scandal-plagued star supposedly wrote on Wechat. “Happy birthday to my cat,” commented Li Chen . Happy birthday to you [too],” Bingbing then responded to her ex.

While some netizens were happy that Bingbing and Li Chen are still on good terms, some were skeptical of the screenshot, explaining that there’s no way to verify the legitimacy of the interaction since the profile pictures and names have been blurred out.

“How do you even know if it’s Fan Bingbing?” questioned a netizen. “I think I can photoshop 100 pictures like this.
