“Story of Yanxi Palace” Actress Suffer Burns After Spa Treatment
Chinese actress Deng Sha (邓莎), best known for playing Wu Jinyan’s (吴谨言) older sister in the 2018 TV drama Story of Yanxi Palace <延禧攻略>, is suffering from severe burns after going through a cupping therapy treatment at a spa.
The incident happened on the early morning of December 9th in Beijing. Feeling unwell, the 34-year-old decided to visit a spa parlor for cupping therapy. She ended suffering severe burns from the treatment. Deng Sha shared a photo of her diagnosis certificate, which read that she suffered burns in 8% of her upper right arm and back.
Deng Sha also shared pictures of her burns, but she censored the image.
