Kirby Lam Leaving TVB After Opening Online Shop?

A face that should be remembered by many for her performances at TVB, actress Kirby Lam (林秀怡) recently gained attention for her long-awaited appearances in Our Unwinding Ethos <十二傳說> and Barrack O’Karma <金宵大廈>. Despite gaining some recognition, it appears the actress is preparing to leave the station after TVB fired over 100 employees this month.

When the news broke out earlier, many of Kirby’s fans were worried she would be let go since she hasn’t starred in dramas for some time, and she is not one of the promoted actresses at TVB. Now that she is opening an online shop, it seems likely Kirby is thinking of leaving to find other ways of making a living.

Regarding these speculations, Kirby said there is still some time left in her contract with TVB, and she is waiting for the company’s arrangement for future work. When asked if she would be filming dramas, she expressed, “I haven’t received any drama offers lately. I am waiting for the company to arrange them. I filmed some advertisements, so don’t worry and just let things go at their own pace.”

In the meantime, the actress, who has been working in the food and beverage scene on top of acting, is opening an online shop that sells health and beauty products. She plans to share her makeup and skincare tips in the coming days as she introduces her products to the public. The actress promised that all products were tried and tested on herself to ensure their quality and legitimacy.

The idea of an online shop came to her after singer Rainky Wai (蔚雨芯) told her to try out her weight-loss products and share it with others if the products are effective.
