Contrary to belief that the caretaker government will be led by someone from within PKR, with many speculating that it could very well be Datuk Seri Wan Azizah herself, our King has officially made a decision on the matter to end all speculation.
After accepting Tun Mahathir’s resignation, YDP Agong has also appointed Tun Mahathir as Malaysia’s interim Prime Minister in accordance to Article 43 (2)(a) of the Federal Constitution, which states that the appointment of the Prime Minister is a discretionary function of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Yes, Tun Mahathir resigned as Prime Minister, but now he’s Prime Minister again.
