Theme Parks & Water Parks Are Allowed To Open Starting 1st July

Need something to cheer up your Monday blues? we’ve just received good news from our Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Yaakob.

Starting next month, the government will allow all theme parks, including water parks to resume its operations!

In a press conference held today (Monday, 29th June), Datuk Ismail Sabri revealed that a total of 54 theme parks with up to 10,000 labour forces across the country will reopen starting 1st July (this Wednesday). As usual, operators as well as visitors must comply with the government’s SOPs, mainly social distancing rules.

During the conference, Ismail Sabri also explained that the limit number of people allowed to enter is according to the capacity of the premise. Additionally for water theme parks, visitors will have to follow the guidelines for management and maintenance of public pools.
