Katy Kung Films “Brutally Young 2”

Praised for a suspense-filled storyline, thriller Brutally Young <十八年後的終極告白> had viewers hooked with its plot twists. With its sequel Brutally Young 2  set to be a totally different story, new cast Katy Kung (龔嘉欣),  Zoie Tam (譚凱琪) and Raymond Cho (曹永廉) will be shaking up the original lineup including Shaun Tam (譚俊彥) and Joel Chan (陳山聰).

Playing a trio of siblings along with Terence Siu (邵展鵬) and 2018 Miss Hong Kong runner-up Amber Tang (鄧卓殷), Katy will sport a geeky bespectacled look for the role since the producer wanted a differentiated look from her previous characters.

Due to their petite figures, the onscreen siblings appear considerably younger than their actual ages, particularly pixie-faced Amber, 25, who looks like she is a student.

With 2020 being a fruitful year for Katy, she is looking forward to tackling the thriller genre, albeit with a little nervousness. “I seldom wear glasses in my previous roles, and this time I grew my hair long too to give viewers a new impression.”

With viewers glued to their screen for Brutally Young, Katy revealed that the script she has on hand for the sequel is also full of page-turning suspense!
