Here Are 5 Secrets To A Productive Morning Routine!

Morning routines are the most essential part of your day! They set the tone for everything that follows for the rest of the day…

So, how can you maximize your mornings to ensure you get the most out of your day? Here are 5 secrets, according to INC.

#1 Become a morning person

We get it, it’s hard! While our natural circadian rhythms certainly impact how energetic we feel in the morning, getting to bed earlier and instituting an enjoyable morning routine may make mornings a little more bearable.

#2 Prepare the night before

Mornings can be chaotic sometimes, especially when you keep pressing the snooze button and end up getting up later than you had planned.

A bit of extra planning the night before can go a long way to minimizing the morning stress, and some ways to do this is like planning out your outfit of the day, preparing breakfast or lunches ahead of time, and having your work bag and laptop ready and waiting by the door.

#3 Check that email later!

Sometimes, we just can’t help but to check our emails as soon as we open our eyes. Remember to stop and breathe!

The problem is that this often gets us off to a bad start by responding to reacting to other people’s agendas rather than setting our own course for the day…

#4 Exercise

People who exercise during the day before starting work show improved moods and an increased ability to deal with the demands of work.

It is well-known that there are many physical and mental health benefits that can be gained from regular exercise. So if you try to fit an active break into your working day, you might also experience the added bonus of your whole day feeling much more productive.

#5 Have some quiet time

Meditation, praying, yoga, quiet time – these are all great practices that can get your day off to the right start.

Spending 15-30 minutes in quiet, whether you’re doing a structured meditation or simply sitting silently with a cup of coffee, can actually broaden your perspective and give you a calmer, more proactive outlook on the day!

Getting off to a good start can mean the difference between an energetic, proactive start and dragging your feet into the day.

Hope this helps!
