Sharing photos of his gym routine on social media, 34-year-old actor Carlos Chan (陳家樂) has successfully bulked up, showing off his muscular arms on social media.
Sticking to 16/8 Intermittent Fasting
The actor shared that he has been putting in much sweat and persistent efforts before results began to show. “Everyone might feel that building big muscles looks very handsome and only focus on strength training, but I feel that training has to be all-round to achieve good health. It’s best to have cardio training to boost your heart and lung strength too.”
Combining his gym routine with a new diet, Carlos swears by 16/8 intermittent fasting, a form of time-restricted eating. “That means 8 hours of eating every day, and letting the intestines take a break the rest of the time.” Choosing to eat during the daily time window from 12 to 8 p.m., Carlos would then “abstain from foods before or after that, and just have water or tea at most. This really helps with cutting fats.”
Regularly sharing photos of his meals, Carlos has been eating clean and his meals consist of white poached chicken and grains-based dishes.
