Fans React To Kim Hyun Joong’s Marriage Announcement During Concert
It’s official, guys – Kim Hyun Joong (김현중) is off the market! The SS501 member has recently confirmed that he’s getting married soon!
To kick things off, Korean media outlet TV Daily initially reported yesterday (Sunday, 27th February) that the Hallyu heartthrob would be tying the knot with his non-celebrity partner. The report also stated that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the couple will not be holding a wedding ceremony.
That same day, Kim appeared to directly announce his engagement to his fan attendees at his gift concert “What I Want To Say”. The 36-year-old celeb relayed, “I’m not sure how to say this. I made a decision to walk through my future life together with the person who stood by me during the most difficult and hard times.”
“When I reflect on the life I’ve lived until now, I’ve received a lot of attention and love. As I’m sincerely grateful to all the fans who silently stood by my side during the dark and difficult days, I think today will be a meaningful day as it’s one where we meet face-to-face and I can talk to you,” Kim further added. “When the dark and difficult days continued, thanks to my fans’ support, love, and trust, I was able to regain courage and could decide to start anew with the second half of my life.”
The “Boys Over Flowers” star also said, “I felt I would regret it all my life if I only expressed myself through words, considering the infinite love and support I’ve received from fans, so I wanted to take this opportunity at this concert to share this news (about my marriage).”
