Bosco Wong Worries Over Accidents on “Endless Battles” Set
TVB stars Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Michael Tse (謝天華) are currently working on Shaw Brother’s upcoming action film Endless Battle <無間一戰> alongside Joel Chan (陳山聰), Alice Chan (陳煒), Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), and Jazz Lam (林子善). While Bosco is used to filming action scenes, even his preparation could not guarantee filming being accident and injury-free.
After fracturing his foot in the past, Bosco has increased his insurance coverage to more than 10 million Chinese yuan. Through his insurance and the production company’s premium, Bosco is doubly insured.
Often getting injured while filming action scenes, Bosco recounts “winning the jackpot” in which an aerial camera accidentally dropped straight onto his head while filming with Jazz. “I heard the aerial camera making loud and strange noises. with the bright lights above, I couldn’t spot where the camera was, so Jazz and I just hugged each other on the ground. The camera eventually dropped on my head and my fingers also got scratched in the process. Fortunately, I was not hit by the propeller, but it was so scary because my face could have gotten disfigured,” Bosco said.
Michael Teases Bosco Caused All His Bruises
As Endless Battle has significant gun battles and heavy explosions, the cast often has bruises during filming. Collaborating again after a long time, Michael pointed, “Bosco puts so much power into filming action scenes now. I was alright in the past, but I would find so many bruises when I get home now.” Laughing in response, Bosco said, “You think I don’t have bruises? There’s no cushioned padding for my arms and legs!”
