Billy Crudup Responds to Kate Hudson’s Compliment on His Kissing Skills

Billy Crudup is reacting to Kate Hudson‘s kissing compliment!

Back in December 2022, the 43-year-old actress underwent Vanity Fair‘s lie-detector test where she compared kissing Billy, 54, in 2000′s Almost Famous and kissing Matthew McConaughey in 2003′s How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and 2008′s Fool’s Gold.

“I think Billy is a gentler kisser,” Kate said. “I wouldn’t say better. Definitely just gentler. It’s a more sophisticated version of a kiss.”

“[Billy’s is] like theater, it’s like Stanislavski, and [Matthew’s is] like, Longhorns, you know what I mean?” Kate jokingly added.

In a new interview, Billy thanked Kate for the compliment, adding that it all had to do with his character Russell Hammond.

“I think she was thinking the character Russell was gentler,” Billy told Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t have a mustache now. This is the great thing about playing these parts, whether it’s for music or romance, I love to expand my horizons.”
