Who Won ‘The Bachelor’ 2023? Zach Is Engaged to [SPOILER]! (Finale Recap)

SPOILER ALERT – Do not continue reading if you don’t want to know what happened on the finale of The Bachelor!

The finale of Zach Shallcross‘ season of The Bachelor just aired and his new fiancee was revealed.

Heading into the final episode of the season, Zach was down to two women – Gabi Elnicki and Kaity Biggar. Before we could watch their final dates with him, it was time for Zach to have a live one-on-one with Ariel Frenkel, who he eliminated during last night’s episode.

Ariel said that she was blindsided while watching the episode and learned what happened in the fantasy suites between Zach and the other women while watching the episode with the rest of America.

“I want to know why the other women were given grace and honesty… and why I didn’t get the same respect,” she asked Zach, adding that he made the whole week about sex by saying that he wouldn’t sleep with any of the women (yet he did).

We then watched Zach‘s final dates with Gabi and Kaity, which included them getting to meet his family.

So, who won in the end?

Zach gave his final rose to Kaity Biggar – and they’re engaged!

While Zach was breaking up with Gabi, she said that she “f–king knew” it was going to happen. She said that she felt “strung along.”

On the live finale, Gabi added, “Even though I had that gut feeling, I didn’t think that someone who cared about me would make me go up there and go through all that stress and anxiety the entire day. I felt humiliated.”

She also feels violated that the whole world knows what happened in the fantasy suite.

“That’s a part of myself I’ll never get back,” Gabi said on the finale. “It’s extremely violating that the entire nation knows everything.”

“The last thing I wanted to do was hurt you like that,” Zach said.

The episode then segued to Kaity‘s final rose ceremony with Zach. While walking to the proposal, she said, “I can’t see my life without him. I can’t picture my life with another man.”

Zach got down on one knee and popped the question to Kaity. They’re engaged!

“Kaity Lane, I am so in love with you. You are my world. You are the face I want to wake up to every morning,” he told her.

Zach is the first Bachelor to get engaged on the finale since Peter Weber did in 2020.
