Karman Kwok Broke Up with Richard Li?
Karmen Kwok (郭嘉文) who won third place in 2015 Miss Hong Kong pageant was known for her relationship with billionaire businessman Richard Li (李澤楷). Although Karmen faded away from the limelight after terminating her contract with TVB in 2017, the former actress is back in the headlines after rumors that her relationship with Richard had come to an end.
The couple began their relationship several years after Richard’s split with Isabella Leong (梁樂瑤). Richard and Karmen appeared to have a stable relationship and Richard even introduced Karmen publicly as his girlfriend at a horse racing event. During their courtship, Karmen was nicknamed as the “Billionaire’s Girlfriend” as Richard often showered her with gifts which included a billion-dollar mansion.
It wasn’t until July 2021 that rumors of the couple’s break up started emerging even though the couple refused to comment. However, a few days ago, Richard Li was spotted at the horse race track without Karmen by his side while taking pictures with beautiful women.
Meanwhile, Karmen rarely shares snippets of her personal life on social media but she is often seen on her good friend Iris Lam’s (林凱恩) social platform. The two best friends were seen in a post documenting their day on May 6th and netizens could help but notice Karmen’s down to earth appearance. Dressed in a green t-shirt, flared jeans and casual sneakers, Karmen was also seen carrying a Celine Ava bag valued at 13,000 Chinese yuan. It is estimated that Karmen’s whole outfit cost less than 20,000 yuan.
In the caption, Iris quoted novelist Mo Yan (莫言) and wrote, “In front of people you like, love and live your life passionately. In front of the people you don’t like, go see the world clearly. It’s as simple as that.” The post draw many netizens’ praises as they called the two friends pretty and cute.
