Donald Trump Wears Bandage Over Ear for First Appearance Since Assassination Attempt
Donald Trump is stepping out in public for the first time since the attempt on his life.
The former President of the United States wore a bandage over his right ear while making an appearance during the first day of the Republican National Convention on Monday (July 15) at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Trump appeared alongside his Vice President candidate J.D. Vance.
In an interview with The New York Post, Trump said, “The doctor at the hospital said he never saw anything like this, he called it a miracle. I’m not supposed to be here, I’m supposed to be dead. I’m supposed to be dead.”
Trump talked about the moment when he was shot at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday.
“The agents hit me so hard that my shoes fell off, and my shoes are tight,” he said.
