ADOR Calls NJZ’s (NewJeans) Claims To Be Contradictory During Trial

They think it doesn’t make any sense.

On March 3, the first pleading for the lawsuit filed by ADOR against NJZ (NewJeans) was held to confirm the validity of their exclusive contract.

During the trial, ADOR stated that the group’s claims did not make sense.

One thing about producing is that the defendant says they cannot promote without Min Hee Jin and that they must be together. While it is true that Min Hee Jin contributed to the creation of NJZ, it makes no sense to say that they cannot exist without Min Hee Jin.

They added that they had more than enough sources to promote the group.

ADOR is a subsidiary of HYBE, the number one entertainment label in Korea, so it’s nonsense to say that they cannot find another producer. Considering they prepared for the Hong Kong performance without Min Hee Jin’s help contradicts their claims that they can’t do anything without her.

ADOR and NJZ’s conflict started last November after the group claimed that ADOR had broken their trust and declared the termination of their exclusive contract.

Most recently, the group announced a temporary halt to activities, stating that this was in respect of the court’s decision to accept ADOR’s injunction.
