G-Dragon’s Now-Deleted Mention Of TWICE’s Sana Generates Mixed Reactions
This is not the first time he’s been criticized over his social media activity.
G-Dragon‘s interaction with TWICE’s Sana has netizens talking.

Recently, British rock band Coldplay collaborated with TWICE for a special release titled “We Pray.” As a result, TWICE has been a special guest at several of the band’s recent concerts.
This includes during their recent tour dates in Seoul, where TWICE took the stage with the group, along with other special guests.

The popular band concerts drew in many celebrity guests, including BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon.
The idol seemed to enjoy the concert, sharing a clip on Instagram in which he tagged TWICE’s Sana with a shocked emoji.

G-Dragon’s Instagram story was deleted shortly after, but has since sparked discussions amongst netizens.
In a viral post sharing G-Dragon’s Instagram activity, many expressed negative feelings about his mention of Sana. They questioned why he tagged only her and not the group’s account. Others brought up his social activity involving other female idols and the negative reactions it has received in the past.

- Okay, but imagine if it were your idol. If someone of the opposite sex tags them—not on the group account, but on a personal one—you know people are gonna talk. Even if it’s harmless, unnecessary drama starts. Would you be happy if your idol got tagged like that?
- The Sana tag thing feels a bit off—if, like his fans say, there was nothing wrong with it, then why did he delete the Story?
- If you’re a girl group fan, wouldn’t this totally rub you the wrong way? Like, some random artist suddenly tags your idol out of nowhere? Whether they were on stage or not, it just feels like… why even do that?
- Not just Sana, but I wish he’d stop liking or tagging female idols’ pics and videos in general… It’s been causing issues for a while, and the fact that it keeps happening is honestly weird.Others saw no issue with G-Dragon tagging Sana, calling out those criticizing the idol.

- But isn’t it kind of whatever? Like, GD likes everyone’s posts—what’s so weird about this one?
- ? Even if they’re not close, what’s wrong with tagging someone after they appeared on stage? I’m not a fan of either, but normal people do this all the time, and so do other celebs. Like if they go to a concert or someone guest performs, they tag them too. Why’s this a big deal?
- Feels like it’s literally just tagging someone in a post about the stage—nothing more, nothing less. I’m a TWICE fan and I honestly don’t feel anything about it.
