BLVD House: “Crazy Rich Asians” Filming Spot Shut Down After 4 Years

Oh no! Local fancy restaurant BLVD House, one of the shooting locations for the iconic movie “Crazy Rich Asians”, had ceased its operations earlier this month after 4 years.

The sad news was announced via its official social media accounts, where they shared that the restaurant had officially closed its doors on 5th June 2020. However, the American eatery didn’t reveal any specific details on the reason behind its closure.

“BLVD House is officially closing its doors today. We thank you for your support since we opened four years ago; thank you for letting us fill your bellies whilst you filled our hearts. We wish you every happiness and success, and we hope to cross paths with you again. Farewell, our dear friends,” they wrote on the caption.

As aforementioned, BLVD House was featured in this particular scene (video below) involving our very own Henry Golding (who starred in the 2018 film as the character Nick Young) and Constance Wu (Rachel Chu).

Prior to this, BLVD House was a notable spot for all kinds of social gatherings. Some of its signature menus include Fish & Chips, Pan Seared Salmon, Roasted Chicken and Duck Leg Confit, just to name a few.
