Richard Simmons’ Apparent Cause of Death Revealed by Los Angeles Fire Department
The Los Angeles Fire Department is speaking out following Richard Simmons‘ death.
On Saturday morning (July 13), law enforcement was called to the health guru’s house in Los Angeles were he was pronounced dead at the scene. He had just celebrated his 76th birthday the day before.
Days later on Monday (July 15), the LAFD revealed Richard‘s likely cause of death.
“On July 13, 2024, at 9:55 AM, the LAFD responded to a Suspected Death Incident at the 1300 block of N Belfast Drive,” LAFD Captain Erik Scott shared in a statement with Entertainment Tonight.
“Upon arrival, one rescue ambulance discovered a 76-year-old male who was pronounced deceased on-scene by firefighter/paramedics due to apparent natural causes. As a result, no hospital transport was necessary,” the statement continued.
An autopsy has been completed and Richard‘s official cause of death is still pending.
Richard‘s brother recently spoke out following his passing.
