Pepsi Cafe: Cola With Coffee Beverage To Debut Next Year
It’s time to double up on the caffeine. Pepsi Co has just announced that they are planning to launch Pepsi Cafe in 2020.
The upcoming Pepsi Cafe drink is said to be a fusion of crisp taste of a Pepsi cola mixed with roasted Arabica coffee flavour. As aforementioned, the hybrid beverage will even double the caffeine.
As shown in the poster (pictured above), the Pepsi Cafe will be available in 2 flavours – Vanilla and Original. The former is said to be a “sweeter and creamier” version of the latter. So if you’re a fan of both coffee and cola, this beverage is definitely the best of both worlds.
This isn’t something brand new though. More than a decade ago, Coca-Cola introduced Coca-Cola BlāK (a super edgy coffee-flavoured Coke) in 2006. It was axed after 2 years. Coca-Cola Coffee Plus made its debut in Japan 2 years ago in 2017. This goes to show that the soft drinks company has been coming up with various twists to see which one lands.
The launch date for Pepsi Cafe is scheduled for April 2020. No word yet if Pepsi will bring to anywhere else beyond the United States.
