AirAsia’s Free Seats Promo Is Back! 5 Million Free Seats Up For Grabs

If you’ve been on the fence undecided whether to buy flight tickets, we’ve got good news for you – the highly-anticipated AirAsia’s Free Seats promotion is back! Wanderlusters are already snapping those free seats like hot cakes as we speak.

The low-cost carrier broke the exciting news earlier today that there are 5 million free seats up for grabs to travel across many popular domestic and international destinations across Asean including Langkawi, Penang, Johor Bahru, Krabi, Phu Quoc and Singapore.

Dubbed as the biggest ever FREE Seats campaign, the promo period is from now till 25th September, while the travel period is between 1st January 2023 and 28th October 2023. Do note that this FREE Seats promotion is available exclusively on the airasia Super App and website.

  • All-in fare from RM23 for domestic flights
  • All-in fare from RM54 for flights within Asean (Includes airport taxes, MAVCOM fee, fuel surcharges and other applicable fees)

Travelers longing to spread their wings further can also opt for longer haul AirAsia sister airlines AirAsia X and Thai AirAsia X that fly to destinations such as South Korea, (Seoul), Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Auckland), and India (New Delhi). Flight tickets start from RM499 for economy seats and from RM1,499 for premium flatbed seats for travel between 3rd October 2022 and 28th October 2023.

In addition, AirAsia X also announced that there are now new direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Jeddah in the Middle East and to Tokyo (Haneda), and Sapporo in Japan. Tickets to travel in November and December are now on sale. The Kuala Lumpur to Jeddah route starts from RM1,799 for economy and RM2,999 for premium flatbed for a travel period between 14th November 2022 to 25th March 2023. One-way flights Tokyo (Haneda) and Sapporo are priced at RM599 for a travel period between 21st November 2022 to 24th March 2023 and 1st December 2022 to 1st February 2023 respectively.
