Cha Eun Woo Mourns ASTRO Member Moon Bin

ASTRO member Moon Bin  suddenly passed away on April 19. As there were no signs of foul play, police suspect the 25-year-old committed suicide in his own home. The idol’s friends, family, fans, and fellow band members gathered to grieve over the loss at his memorial space. Joining everyone in remembering Moon Bin, older member Cha Eun Woo wrote a letter expressing his sorrow.

Moon Bin’s management agency Fantagio set up a memorial space outside the office building to allow everyone to mourn for the star until the end of April. Among the thousands of letters and flowers, fans discovered that Moon Bin’s sister Moon Sua and his band members Eun Woo, SanhaMJJinjin, had also visited the site and left personally written letters for Moon Bin.

In his letter, Eun Woo wrote, “Bin, I’m missing you a lot, you bad boy. I couldn’t fall asleep so Sanha and I went on a walk to visit you. Are you sleeping well? I’ve been missing and regretting all the things that I’ve used to do with you–even the most little and ordinary things… Just be a hundred more times happier in your moon world, and don’t worry about the things you left behind because I’ll take care of it for you. You’ve worked hard. I love you, and I’m sorry, my friend.” Eun Woo also wrote the lyrics of the chorus in Astro’s song “We Still”, which described the members still being together despite the passage of time.

Youngest member Sanha had written in his letter, “Older brother, are you doing well? I miss you very much…I seem to always see you in front of me. I know you would scold me if you saw me like this, but please forgive me. Like you’ve told me, I’ll make sure to live happily and protect myself well. I promise. I love you a lot…I love you.”
