Hmm sunny day, thinking of a road trip? Black Diamond Lake would be the place!

Just a 2 hours drive from Perth- Black Diamond Lake lies 5 km west of Collie’s coal-mining town.

Best experienced on a clear sunny day as the lake radiates a beautiful blue hue, rendering it some of the blest water you’ll ever see in your life.

4. Hutt Lagoon

Ever heard of Pink lake?

Yes, it is real. Hutt Lagoon is a salt lake located near the coast just north of the mouth of the Hutt River, in the Mid West region of Western Australia.

The presence of Dunaliella Salina, a form of micro-algae which is also a food-coloring agent, the waters in Hutt Lagoon eventually turn into a beautiful pink shade. Half a day trip would be good enough but make sure to do it before the sundown.

5. Wave Rock

Need a perfect exotic Instagram shot? Wave Rock is the place to visit!

Wave Rock is a 15-meter high natural rock wall in the form of an ocean wave.

Wave Rock is located 3-4 hours from Perth, although it is a little far, I’m sure it’s worth the trip!

These are the hidden gems in Perth that I find interesting enough to share.

Hope you enjoyed reading!
